Subject: The Seraphim Choir Album Debut- MOMENTS
To: Darius Lim

Dear Friends,

One of my choirs, The Seraphim Choir, has just released the album- "Moments".

They are quite young under my direction but have worked hard towards producing this album in a short span of just 4 months. The album launch and performance took place yesterday at the Trinity Day Celebrations and was extremely well received with 720 albums sold in just 4 hours!

All the songs in this album are written by me.

The album is on sale now at only S$10 and proceeds will go to the Church Charity Building Fund.

Please support us by getting a few for yourselves and your friends!

If interested, do e-mail me your desired quantity (1-1000) at dariusmusic@gmail.com or you can reach me on my mobile at 90705253.

We are hoping to raise $20,000 for the Charity Building Fund.

Please do pass the word around and Thank you very much for your time!

"The Music is in You."

The SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR Musical Party

The SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR Musical Party

Hello Family and Friends!

I am sending out this email with most exciting news!

Dr Kenneth Lyen, Gavin Low and I have recently started a musical theatre group at Jelutung CC and we will be officially launching our group with what else but a musical party/soiree!

On behalf of the team, I would like to invite you to this celebration and launch which will happen on:

The Nitty-Gritty

Date: Sunday, 1st June 2008
Venue: Jelutung CC Theatrette, The Jelutung CC @ Canberra,
2 Sembawang Crescent
Singapore 757632
(A mere 5 minutes walk from Sembawang MRT!)
Time: 4pm - 8pm (may extend till later)

The THEME!

The theme for this event is SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR!

We'll leave it up to you to interpret the theme! But just a hint, it can be a song you're singing, what you're wearing, your date for the evening, etc.
PLUS, we will be giving away a number of prizes for different categories, which will not be telling you just yet! :P

Performances Galore

Everyone is invited to perform, so if you're keen to do so, please take note of the following:

You may prepare up to 3 songs. However, I can possibly guarantee that you will be able to sing only 2 of them. Should we have enough time and space, I'd be more than happy to let you sing the 3rd song.

We've thought long and hard about this and we've decided that for this particular party, we will allow ONLY EXISTING MUSICAL SONGS. You can play cheat a little here as that practically covers Musicals for the Stage, Jukebox Musicals, Film Musicals (Moulin Rouge, Across the Universe & Disney stuff applies here). Our apologies that we won't be allowing original songs this time.

We can't confirm the logistics at this point of time, just yet. However, we have a very strong feeling that we could at the very least provide a CD player and a Keyboard.

Please do not feel threatened or scared to perform. This will be a very homely and cozy party/soiree despite it being in a Theatrette! There are no fixed seats in the Theatrette, so do join us and see what we've got in mind! Alas, if you're not keen on performing, you're free to join in the fun anyways and rejoice in the merry-making!

THE VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You can sing Solo, as a duo, a sextet or even a whole choir! We're not stopping you! However, please do drop me an email by Wednesday, 28th May 2008 indicating your name, your songs of choice and your medium of choice (CD or Keyboard/Guitar, etc).

Food Facts

What's a party without food yes? In line with our very homely and cozy soiree/party (but do remember you're supposed to be SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR!) we will be having a POTLUCK.

You're free to bring HALAL and NON-HALAL food as we will have TWO separate tables to distinguish our foods of choice!

Please do not bring drinks as we will be providing them at the venue.

RSVP

Please RSVP your name and attendance to myself by Saturday, 24th May 2008.

Performers are also reminded to reply with your name, songs of choice and medium of choice by Wednesday, 28th May 2008.

Should you need to call me for more enquiries, I can be reached at 96464115.

Wow, I guess that's about it then!
Hope to see you at the SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR Musical Party then!

Warmest Regards,
Shaiful
