A Time For Thanks* 2008*Apr*30 *WED*8pm

Concert Invitation :: A Time For Thanks

Dear friends,
Below, please find an invitation to our up-coming concert on 30 April at the Esplanade Recital Studio... it will be an evening of love songs, boss, jazz and altogether FUN!

Would appreciate your presence and your support :)

It is so appropriately named A Time To Give Thanks and I am testimony to that, having just been discharged from hospital yesterday, following a life-threatening event called pulmonary embolism where I developed blood clots which lodged in the lungs. Thank God I can STILL SING and THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!

So please get your tickets from SISTIC and I will see you on 30 April!

Cheers!
Joyce Liang

Dear Friends and Family,
After our last gig at the Esplanade's Recital Studio in Sep last year, my friend Dr Michael Wong approached me and asked " How would you like to have your next gig at the same place next year?" i hardly needed any persuasion, since Mike was going to organize and sponsor this
concert and donate the entire proceeds from the tix sale to a worthy cause .(the Singapore Medical Association's Medical Students' Assistant Fund sma.org.sg)

Mike is also going to match the proceeds dollar for dollar. i too jumped at the chance to share the stage once more with the energies and talents of Belinda Foo (keyboard), Spencer Goh(guitar), Wyemun Low (bass) and Nathan Winterflood (drums) and Ho Kah Keh (back up vocals). i'm excited also that the warm and talented Dr Joyce Liang joyzrecords.com will be singing, taking the first half of the evening.
Details Details: the concert is titled; A Time For Thanks*. It's happening on
Wednesday 30th April (eve of a public holiday) from 8 to 10 pm at the
Esplanade's Recital Studio.

You can book tix thru Sistic's hotline (63485555) or any authorized sistic outlet.
There are 200 tix for sale at $50 each. There is a password (because this is a private event) and the password is DrMichaelWong.

For those who've come to our previous gigs and enjoyed yourselves, and for those who've heard good things about us and are curious, do come. Hope to see you there.

* Mike called it "A Time For Thanks" because he is wants to give back for
all that he's been given.
